Adult Education Classes in Spartanburg County

The Adult Learning Center aims to help bring improvements to the lives of undereducated adults through our adult education classes. We give students an opportunity to better their education levels and future job prospects without taking on the costs of large college institutions.

Computer Training  

Whether you need to become more familiar with internet navigation, or you need to improve your typing skills, our helpful instructors are eager to lend you a helping hand. Computer training does much more than just help people keep up with today’s technologically advanced world; these skills can also translate into a world of new job and career opportunities.  

For instance, some participants can become eligible to work as secretaries, typists, or even as online transcriptionists. Our classes can also help prepare students to succeed at the higher education level.

Basic Literacy

Some adults may be embarrassed about revealing their need to increase their literacy levels. Fortunately, we provide a safe and encouraging learning environment that offers the helpful tools and courses they need. Not only can improving literacy help increase career prospects, but this skill can also empower students in the social aspects of their lives. In fact, literacy can enhance people’s ability to communicate and interact with others, which in turn will allow them to feel more connected and confident.
